Throughout the eighth season, users could unlock a total of 20 walkers by scanning Mountain Dew commercials aired during each of the eight episodes or by scanning limited edition The Walking Dead-branded Mountain Dew products. Once unlocked, users could place the walkers in their environment via the scene creator feature.
